The Immortality Experiment
A Russian scientist named Dr. Anatoli Brouchkov believes humans can be immortal, and he thinks he found it in 3.5-million-year-old bacteria. Brouchkov first discovered this ancient bacteria, Bacillus F, in 2009, frozen deep in a mountain in Siberia’s Yakutsk region.
Brouchkov estimated it was 3.5 million years old, and he was very impressed with it. Despite its advanced age, it was still alive. According to Dr. Brouchkov, Bacillus F seems to make everything around it live longer, too. When injected with the bacteria inside of Mice, the result was shocking.
The mice lived longer than expected and stayed fertile for a long period of time. Crops exposed to Bacillus F grow faster and are more resistant to insects. The people in the Yakutia region even live longer than average — perhaps because Bacillus F has inserted into their body through their water supply from Ice.
Out of curiosity, Dr. Brouchkov injects himself with the bacteria and sees what happened. He mentioned that he hadn’t caught flu & fever and was healthy for 3 years. Also, an Actress named Moniker Manoush,45, claims that Dr. Brouchkov gave her some sample of the bacteria. She had been injecting those bacteria for 3 years to look young and healthy.
She said that her skin is getting smooth and younger & more energetic. According to her, Aging is a Genetic Flaw, and this bacteria is making ger young & beautiful.
Although, there’s no real proof of this bacteria making humans immortals many scientists believe that these bacteria can slightly increase the aging period of humans for 5-10 years but it doesn’t mean that It can make humans immortal.
The ‘Biodome’ Experiment
If you fly over the mountains of Oracle, Arizona, you may notice something like glass pyramids and textured domes similar to a scene in a sci-fi movie. This is an unusually designed structure to carry out an experiment. The experiment was to test how humans would survive in a man-made environment and to check its effect on the Human body.
The main intention of this project was how humans would survive in colonies on Mars and the moon. The inside of the glass-walled pyramids was filled with all types of plants and biomes which is necessary for humans to survive.
The project began in 1991. These eight people were going to be voluntarily sealing themselves in an air-tight dome for the next two years with no contact with the outside world. Despite supposedly being a self-sustaining environment, food quickly became a problem. They were consuming only low-calories food such as bananas, yams.
The volunteers were called Biosphereians. Do you know what else is kind of important to survive? Air! Because it was a sealed environment, the oxygen levels in the domes began to drop, leading to many of the Biospherians getting sick. Things would only keep getting worse from here.
The participants were also beginning to go a bit crazy. After being stuck with each other with no communication with the outside world for so long, they used to beat each other in stress and anger. They had soon split into 2 groups. The first one was quite stubborn. They used to break protocols; killing animals for meat and they were too aggressive while other groups just focused on their mission.
After several months inside a sealed place, One of the Biospherians got so angry that he tried to break the sealed glass to get outside but others stopped him. Many of them were underfed and depressed, they were not able to walk properly due to the difference in Air pressure.
After coming out, most of them were sick were several months. The director said, “it’s not easy to colonize Mars and Moon not either to stay here for long”.
