Recently, few images have emerged on the internet of Google’s latest flagship model. XDA Forums leaked the images of the Google Pixel 3 and Pixel 3 XL reportedly. The image consists of the different angles of the phones. The front, back, display notch and other were leaked in the images. The important thing to note is that the front screen has a top-notch display following the footpaths of iPhone X. Last week, many rumors regarding the Google’s latest flagship device confirmed the ‘notch-and-a-chin’ design. The news was almost certain to be true which were proved by the image leaks.
On close examination of the image, the back of the phone seems like an iterative upgrade to the Pixel 2 model. The camera, sensor and flash placement remains identical to the previous flagship model. But, a few minor changes are present. The back seems like an all glass finish which is not present in the Pixel 2 XL. Kind of brushed glass finish is present on the bottom giving the phone a new aesthetic look. It looks like Google is trying to get a nice curve on the edges of the new mobile.
The images confirm many other things too. For example, the new flagship device was rumored with a dual camera set up on the front. As we check the leaked images, we can confirm that Google has placed a dual camera in the front too which will enhance the selfie-camera experience. Surprisingly, there is only one camera present on the back.
The phone is rumored to have 128 GB ROM with 4 GB RAM which is unsurprisingly normal for Google devices. According to another leak earlier this week, the Google Pixel 3 XL will have a 6.2-inch display, which looks quite accurate when the images are seen.
Another interesting thing to note is that Google might keep some codenames for its latest flagship device. Crosshatch, Albacore, and blueline are reportedly the codenames Google will be keeping for Pixel 3 XL. Reportedly, the leaked images of Pixel 3 XL spotted the product revision as Crosshatch EVT 1.0.
Previously, Bloomberg Scoop said that we can expect the end product somewhere during the month of October. Going by the leak images, we can be quite sure that Google will be launching its new flagship device by the same month. It is not a surprise from Google to go for the high-end specifications offered by some of the top flagship phones having 6/8GB RAM and such. However, the dual camera setup in the front seems interesting.
The main thing to wait is for the pricing. Google doesn’t opt to target the middle-class with moderate pricing and believes in making premium smartphones. Google’s Pixel 2 and Pixel 2 XL had enhancements like wireless earphone and few others and Pixel 3 will be no different. Google has revamped the design and maybe some ‘surprise’ features which will be revealed at the launch.
